Winners from Wimbledon 2023

To the disappointment of British tennis fans, Wimbledon is now over for another year. Whilst the women’s and men’s finals stole the show on the final weekend of the tournament, there were plenty of other trophies handed out to deserving winners right around the famous grounds of SW19. As is customary, the victorious players all gathered together for the Wimbledon Champions Dinner at the All England Club on Sunday evening. Let’s take a look at the full list of winners from this year’s Championships.

Wimbledon 2023 Winners

Men’s Singles: Carlos Alcaraz Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic in an epic five-set duel to clinch his second Grand Slam title, following his US Open triumph last year. The 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 win saw Alcaraz, 20, become the third-youngest man to lift the Wimbledon trophy after Boris Becker and Björn Borg. It was the first time Djokovic, who remains on 23 Grand Slams, had tasted defeat on Centre Court since losing to Andy Murray in the final ten years ago.

Women’s Singles: Markéta Vondroušová The women’s final saw Czechia’s Markéta Vondroušová pick up her maiden Grand Slam title with victory over Ons Jabeur, 6-4, 6-4. Vondroušová became the first unseeded woman to win Wimbledon, while Jabeur broke down in tears after suffering her second defeat in the final in as many years.

Boys’ Singles: Henry Searle Henry Searle became the first British junior to win the boys’ title at Wimbledon since Stanley Matthews, son of the legendary former footballer, in 1962. The 17-year-old from Wolverhampton beat fifth seed Yaroslav Demin 6-4, 6-4 on Court 1 on the final day of the Championships.

Men’s Doubles: Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski Neal Skupski won his first Grand Slam men’s doubles title alongside Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof. The top seeds got the better of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, 6-4, 6-4 on Centre Court.

Women’s Doubles: Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová The women’s doubles title went to Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová, who triumphed in a thrilling final.

Mixed Doubles: Mate Pavić and Lyudmyla Kichenok Mate Pavić and Lyudmyla Kichenok claimed the mixed doubles title, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and skill.

Wheelchair Men’s Singles: Tokito Oda Tokito Oda won the wheelchair men’s singles title, defeating Alfie Hewett 6-4, 6-2. This marked Hewett’s second consecutive loss in the final.

Wheelchair Women’s Singles: Diede de Groot Diede de Groot continued her dominance in wheelchair tennis, winning the women’s singles title.

Wheelchair Quad Singles: Niels Vink Niels Vink emerged victorious in the wheelchair quad singles category.

Wheelchair Men’s Doubles: Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid The British pair of Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid won their fifth Wimbledon wheelchairs doubles title – and their 18th Grand Slam together, with a 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 win over Japan’s Takuya Miki and Tokito Oda.

Wheelchair Women’s Doubles: Diede de Groot and Jiske Griffioen Diede de Groot and Jiske Griffioen claimed the wheelchair women’s doubles title.

Wheelchair Quad Doubles: Sam Schroder and Niels Vink Sam Schroder and Niels Vink triumphed in the wheelchair quad doubles category.

Girls’ Singles: Clervie Ngounoue Clervie Ngounoue won the girls’ singles title, showcasing her promising talent.

Boys’ Doubles: Jakub Filip and Gabriele Vulpitta Jakub Filip and Gabriele Vulpitta claimed the boys’ doubles title.

Girls’ Doubles: Alena Kovačková and Laura Samsonová Alena Kovačková and Laura Samsonová won the girls’ doubles title.

Boys’ U14 Singles: Mark Ceban Mark Ceban emerged victorious in the boys’ U14 singles category.

Girls’ U14 Singles: Luna Vujović Luna Vujović won the girls’ U14 singles title.

Gentlemen’s Invitation Doubles: Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan The legendary Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, took home the gentlemen’s invitation doubles title.

Ladies’ Invitation Doubles: Kim Clijsters and Martina Hingis Kim Clijsters and Martina Hingis triumphed in the ladies’ invitation doubles category.

Mixed Invitation Doubles: Nenad Zimonjić and Rennae Stubbs Nenad Zimonjić and Rennae Stubbs claimed the mixed invitation doubles title.
