Another sad day for Manchester United fans as Kevin De Bruyne and Man City embarrass dismal Man Utd in Manchester derby.

The city of Manchester came to a standstill on Sunday afternoon as City hosted United in the latest derby fixture of the season from the Etihad Stadium.
With a win, Pep Guardiola’s side will re-open their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League, while Ralf Rangnick was eager to see his side bolster their dreams of a top-four finish with a statement performance.
Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring after just a few minutes, running onto a Bernardo Silva cutback to rifle past David De Gea in the away team’s goal.
Jadon Sancho finished off a counter-attack with a fine finish to equalise, but City’s lead was quickly restored when the ball broke to De Bruyne at close range.
Pep Guardiola’s side grew completely dominant after the break, peppering the goal with shots while United rarely threatened.
And it was Riyad Mahrez who made that dominance pay with a fine strike that deflected in off Harry Maguire.
Mahrez added some gloss to the scoreline in the dying seconds when he ran onto substitute Ilkay Gundogan’s pass and smashed it past David de Gea.
United’s aspirations of a top four finish took a significant blow, especially given results elsewhere before the derby.
Arsenal ’s hard-fought victory away at Watford meant the Gunners leapfrogged into the coveted fourth spot before kick-off at the Etihad and placed huge pressure on Rangnick’s men.
Come full-time and United’s place in European club football’s most elite competition looks seriously under threat next season.
Rangnick’s men now sit fifth in the table, one point behind Arsenal but having played a whopping three games more than their north London counterparts.
There is every chance United could also be caught by Tottenham Hotspur given Antonio Conte’s men are just five points behind having played three games less.
